At Faculty of Social Sciences in Ljubljana today starts international Youth Conference on Energy Security. Conference is organised by United Nations Association of Slovenia and will end on Friday.

The Youth Conference on Energy Security is dedicated to solving the crisis in Ukraine, which will be accurately prepared by our crisis team, and to finding plausible solutions for sustainable reductions of the world’s dependence on fossil fuels. 

Two hour workshop on the meaning of energy literacy, sustainable energy future and geopolitical aspects of energy security will take place on Wednesday, 9. July 2014. Prof. Dean Korošak, University of Maribor, and Mojca Drevenšek, company Consensus, will present to participants the international project of strengthening energy literacy – EN-LITE. Presentations from Samo Furst, GEN energija, Darka Kramar, ELES and dr. Franca Žlahtiča, Plinovodi d.o.o. will follow.
